We all have both, a fixed and growth mindsets, depending on different capabilities. This is called the mindset continuum. Let’s see where you stand on the mindset continuum, between a fixed and a growth mindset.

The purpose of the growth vs fixed mindset reflection exercise is to highlight, that you are moving along a mindset continuum on the scale between the fixed and growth mindset depending on your beliefs.  Exploring your own beliefs and hearing others’ beliefs increases your self-knowledge and awareness of other perspectives. To improve:

  1. Recognise your fixed mindset thoughts
  2. Recognise that you have a choice
  3. Respond to your fixed mindset thoughts with growth mindset thoughts
  4. Take the growth mindset action
